Assemblymember Kevin McCarty and Mayor Pro Tem Karina Talamantes are once again giving away free backpacks stuffed with school supplies to help Sacramento students prepare for the new school year. Last year, we provided over 600 backpacks to students in need. This year, we're doing it again, with free backpacks, school supplies, vaccines, haircuts, health screenings, and lunch!
