Councilmember Karina Talamantes, Recognized at City of Sacramento

Karina Talamantes is a newly elected City of Sacramento Councilmember. Prior to this role she served as the Sacramento County Board of Education President overseeing 245,000 students in Sacramento County. She was also Chief of Staff to then Councilmember and now Senator Ashby and helped run her family’s business. Councilmember Talamantes is focused on addressing homelessness, public safety, economic development, and ensuring that Sacramento has the resources it needs to be a full-service city.
